Lonely World

Lonely World

Some of us were born feeling closer to animals than to our own species. I've never understood the idea of separation between humans and animals. Wild animals remind us that we are part of something bigger and more beautiful than our cities and cars. There is something rare and precious about spotting a wild animal, knowing that the forests are not empty, that we are not alone in this world. I don't want to live on this planet with only the company of other humans, and I don't want to explain to the next generation why we didn't care enough to make sure they had wild companions in their lives like we did.
