Nature in my Life.

Nature in my Life.

My name is Morgan Pfeiffer. I am 16 years old, and I love nature. I love taking walking in the woods near my house that are in a local park. Once there, I take my dog off his leash. He is pleased to go where he wants, but he always stays close to me. Sometimes we just sit and listen. Trying to pick up any nosie that would let us catch a glimse of wildlife. Now the woods I am talking about is in a park in Pittsburgh, where I live. It is of medium size. I have been all over those woods and I have many names for all the paths.
One path is called Turkey Lane. It was named that because my dog and I turned the bend and a huge flock of turkey was there. My dog did not see them right away, but once he did, he was after them. That was the first time I saw that many turkeys in one place.
Another time at dusk we follow a deer down on of the paths. That was amazing. I had never been that close to a deer. I could have just watched her all day.
The woods is not always my paradise of retreat. There are motorbike people that sometime run there engines through the woods. At the time, my dog and I run as fast as we can out of the woods. During those time I long to go to one of the big state parks north of me. Just to get away from them. Then when I take a trip up to one of those parks, I am content. I want everyone to have that feeling that I get from being in nature, and conservation is the way to acheive it.
