Wildlife

Often when I think of issues and how I believe about them I am thinking about my children, and my future grandchildren. I think it helps me to be more forward thinking. I want my children to be able to walk through wilderness where animals live in their habitat. We learn from wildlife all the time. Mainly about how to be in the world without feeling a need to dominate and destroy it or use it all up. About acceptance, and how not to feel sorry for yourself. Lack of regard for wildlife is a sign of human arrogance and egocentricity. Arrogance and egocentricity will likely be our undoing. Making the world right for wildlife is a way for us to make it right for us and future generations. There is no shortage of evidence that indicates that humans are healthier emotionally and physically when they have time on a regular basis in nature with other creatures.
