Our Healing Dolphin

Our Healing Dolphin

Sugar, a dolphin blind in one eye, was in the protective care of a family in the Keys. As her caretaker and swimming companion, I would invite visitors to sit by her lagoon and spend time with her. She would bring them a palm frond and her plastic rings and they would play together. Some of these people had severe health problems and many would return and relate to me various healings they experienced from that encounter as well as the joy and peace they were able to carry with them and share. Sugar passed on in 1997 and hundreds of people from all over came to her Memorial Service. Travelers from around the world still return to the Keys hoping to see Sugar again not realizing that she has passed on. Her healing presence is just one small example of the great gifts given mankind by our wildlife.
