Defenders of Wildlife

They have no voice

They have no voice

Years ago their was a wonderful song that began:
"Bless the beasts and the children, for in this world they have no voice; they have no choice". That's why I find myself drawn to programs and groups which advocate for and protect animals and their habitat and children.

Currently there are people in Washington who want to destroy what is left of our natural world. When George Bush was first made president I cried. I knew what was going to happen to wildlife, wilderness, clean air and clean water. I didn't know it would be this bad.

I may never see in the wild the majority of animals that have been and are protected by the Endangered Species Act. However, for my spiritual well-being I need to know that they are there and they are safe.

They have no voice. I want to be their voice.
